This is all about the location. A wonderfully restored castle in a beautiful setting. A compliment to the interior designers - the decor may not be to everybody's liking but the "castle theme (in a modern sense)" is excellently carried out in so many details. Attentive service! Great wine list (and good advice from the restaurant staff regarding the wines, since they are little known outside of Slovenia)

We enjoyed a completely pampered stay - definitely a plus on a 10 week roadtrip abroad as the hotel afforded total downtime on what was otherwise a whirlwind tour of places we've never explored. The hotel is amazing for its location and history, and the wine tasting experience in the old castle tower was a highlight.

Location and ambience were brilliant. Staff was exceptional! Best customer service ever. Access to the sauna and pool at sports centre.

Fantastic location, a beautiful building, a comfortable big room, a good-sized bathroom, and very friendly and helpful staff.
